A mutated crocodile surfaced from the pitch-black water like a massive dead tree, but its two glowing yellow eyes, each larger than a truck's headlights, completely gave away its presence.
After watching the two humans fly away over its head, it opened its jaws in a threatening display, revealing rows of teeth like bear traps before diving back into the darkness.
Su Ming could not be bothered with a radiation-mutated creature whose brain had not fully developed, but Strangle would not tolerate it. It had been poking out from its host's shoulder in the form of Little Sprout for the ride, but instantly transformed into a black python dozens of meters thick and hundreds of meters long, plunging back into the sewage pool behind them.
There was a sharp crack, and the water in the pool exploded more than ten meters into the air.
Then it shrank back, spitting some crushed bones and brain matter off to the side in disgust. Clearly, it did not care for the taste of the monsters here.

"Eek." Strangler Sprout trembled, indicating that this was indeed the case. The crocodile had looked enormous, but one bite revealed that its insides were full of radioactive wastewater. It tasted awful.
The monster's brain was especially bad. It smelled worse than stinky tofu and did not taste good either.
