So after a dazzling burst of seven-colored light, Black Flash vanished amid the energy attack. It was unclear whether he had been taken out, but at least they had shaken him off for the moment.
"Looks like he really isn't your friend." Roger's beard quivered, and his cleft lips drew in a cold breath. "So, is that guy in black a bad guy?"
"Mm, he's more like a cleaner in the Speed Force Plane. Strictly speaking, his alignment should be Absolute Neutrality." Su Ming lowered his hand and resumed rummaging through the waist pouch with Strangle for high-calorie food. "But the bad news is that, in his eyes, we're trash that needs cleaning up. Any speedster who can't outrun him gets cleaned up."
"I know that. I ran into Black Flash before too. Luckily, there were a lot of us then." Jesse stuck out her tongue. Seeing Black Flash disappear, she relaxed slightly. "He killed Reverse-Flash."
"It's not that bad, really. If you can't outrun Black Flash, you can still beat him in a fight. It's just that once he touches most speedsters, he drains away all their Speed Force and time, turning them into mummies or dust. To defeat him without touching him, you need some kind of energy attack."
Even Su Ming did not want to fight Black Flash at close range. Though he knew he would most likely be fine, who wanted to grapple with a man who looked like a dried corpse?
