If one had to put it that way, Silver Witch could be considered the Sorcerer Supreme of this Earth—the strongest among spellcasters.
Although she did not possess Chaos Magic capable of reshaping heaven and earth with a single thought, Silver Magic was no slouch either, and it was unique within the DC Universe.
Most spellcasters in other Parallel Worlds used witchcraft, their power actually coming from The Upside-Down Man, who was now essentially being held by the throat by Deathstroke. Her Silver Magic, however, was an exceptionally mysterious force from The Source. It could even be used in conjunction with nuclear weapons and could be regarded as a form of Magitech.
Her magic was powerful, but unfortunately, it had a problem.
Because she was essentially an "homage" to a character from next door, she was like the Mages over in Marvel: the more powerful the spell, the longer and more complicated the incantation required.
Vishanti magic was useful partly because its casting cost was relatively low, the debt could be paid off in installments, and its power was not bad either.
On the other hand, the hand signs representing Vishanti were easy to form, and the incantations were fairly short. All one had to do was put all ten fingers together into a little tent-shaped triangle. If one had hands, one could do it.
But humans only had ten fingers, so there were only so many possible sacred sigil shapes. The simple hand signs had all been claimed by the stronger demon gods, leaving the weaker ones without anything memorable.
Take Faltine, for example. Her Faltine's Fire was laughably weak, about enough to light a stove for cooking. Yet to borrow that fire from her, one had to rapidly cycle through more than a dozen hand signs in succession just
