American Crusader crouched down in grief. The shield that had been teleported over with him lay discarded at his side, but he had no mind to pick it up. He merely clutched his chest and let out a mournful cry, looking even more distraught than the man whose car had just been smashed by Blue Behemoth.

Looking at the black pillar of light shooting into the sky, it seemed to have drilled a hole straight through the heavens. If Deathstroke had not been here, would they not all have been buried alongside Stark Industries Tower?
