When it came to clearing a path, Strangle had plenty of experience. Minions like these didn't require any memories to be read. It only needed to turn into a massive rolling pin, jab it forward, then roll it back and forth a few times to either side.

Dream's mist was interesting. It blocked the enemies' vision, yet their group could see through the dense fog however they pleased. It was like a living thing, able to choose for itself who could see it.

Given Strangle's level of strength, ordinary minions were no match for it. Killing them was like harvesting wheat. With a few sweeping motions, enemies fell in rows, and the path to Castle Grayskull's front gate was cleared.

Still, there was a difference between the two sides' forces.

When Apokolips's troops faced the enormous black rolling pin, they died if it brushed them and perished if it touched them. Even being caught by its airflow would cause them to burst into clouds of bloody mist.

The Evil Thought Nobles, however, were far more resilient. Injuries such as losing their heads or half their bodies could not even make them abandon their attacks. Even if they had to drag their remaining heads across the ground with their tongues, they still wanted to bite the nearest flesh-and-blood life-form.

These freaks from the Hand of the Void were quite durable. Perhaps their only shortcoming was that they weren't contagious. If they could spread some kind of mutating virus through biting like ordinary zombies, Su Ming might have collected a few to bring back for Little Ka to experiment on.

That was only a passing thought. No one neglected what needed to be done, and crossing a battlefield several kilometers wide at high speed posed no problem for anyone in the group.
