Looking down, they could see countless footprints, showing that the New Gods were still ahead of them. The trail stretched into the distance, apparently leading deep into the blade-like mountains.
"Slade?"
Luthor asked with his eyes whether they should follow the footprints.
"No. They chose the wrong direction from the start. We're going the opposite way." After saying that, Deathstroke gestured for She-Ra to lead the way. At that moment, the Sword Vigor was blazing with light, pointing out the direction they should take. "Because this dimension is a sphere. If they go that way, they'll eventually reach the destination too, but they're taking the long way around."
The bald man still lacked some intelligence, and he probably had no concept of a World Protagonist, so he did not understand what She-Ra was capable of.
With the Sword Vigor in hand and having successfully called upon the Power of Grayskull, she was Zola's chosen one. Protected by the World Will, she was a humanoid cheat code, a universal key, and a compass all in one.
Su Ming had gone all the way to Etheria to bring her out and even helped settle her family affairs. It had not been for a random act of kindness or to get close to a childhood idol, but because she would be useful for what came next.
She had no sense of direction and was a little naïve, but none of that mattered. The Power of Grayskull was enough.
"It seems to be guiding me that way." She-Ra closed her eyes and felt the psychic connection coming from the sword for a while before pointing ahead. "It really is the opposite direction from the invaders' route."
"Let's go. No need to overthink it. The Power of Grayskull won't screw you over." Deathstroke was decisive.
