Deep within the "core" lay a world made of light. It was not especially bright light, but somewhat gray and hazy, creating a strange feeling.
Nearby stood a forest of luminous trees. Their white branches resembled coral, yet there were no leaves anywhere.
Singing drifted from the distance. It sounded somewhat like a Scandinavian reindeer-herding tune, and somewhat like a Druidic incantation, faintly echoing around them.
"The area is secure. What's the next step of the plan?"
Luthor explained the situation. He had used his armor's portable radar to scan a circular area ten miles around them, and for the moment, found no moving units.
"We've reached the core, the deepest part of this lost concept known as Cybertronian. Stay alert and search carefully. The Star Seed should be nearby. Follow the light." Deathstroke looked first at She-Ra, but the princess's sword was merely glowing now, with no directional indication. He could only have everyone form up and search, doing their best to find the seed before the New Gods did.
The light in this dimension was unnatural. It was simply the energy contained within the seed being released in the form of light, so barring any major upheaval, visibility would not be a concern for now.
They stood at the edge of a white woodland. These glowing trees grew densely and chaotically, yet none were particularly tall. At a glance, they looked somewhat like the skeletal remains of gigantic beasts stuck upright all over the ground.
"You told us to find a seed, but you never said what it looked like." Cheetah rubbed her damp nose, the small inverted black triangle on her face twitching. "This place gives me a very bad feeling. I can't say why. It just feels wrong."
