With a presidential order in hand, it was convenient to go almost anywhere, especially intelligence agencies. At the very least, they would show the president plenty of respect on the surface.
After the black Synthezoid in the White House called the director at the Hoover Building, Su Ming's group received VIP treatment when they entered the building with the presidential order.
"Thank you, thank you for your enthusiasm. Just mail the autograph boards to Stark Industries Building. I love you all, but I'm really carrying out the president's secret mission right now."
Tony, smiling like a blooming flower, was exceptionally skilled at handling people's enthusiasm. Under the burning gazes of the many female Investigation Bureau agents, he moved with effortless ease, waving repeatedly and gracefully in every direction. Every time his eyes met someone else's, one or more middle-aged women would roll their eyes in excitement.
Being surrounded by Avengers fans really did feel good. Especially when Deathstroke had transformed himself into Captain America—even FBI agents were no different from ordinary people, able only to shout fervently, "Captain, over here!"
That was enough. With the presidential order and Iron Man and Captain America vouching for them, bringing a few Mutants into the Hoover Building posed no problem at all.
After exchanging a few pleasantries with the director and showing him the presidential order, Su Ming imitated Steve and put on a polite smile as he shook the man's hand for a long while.
"Director, I need you to evacuate everyone above ground. Can you do that?"
Keeping his smile while speaking softly made the white-haired director see him in a new light.
Everyone said Captain America was a pure warrior, a representative figure of the United States, but who would have thought he possessed a skill only politicians had? Incredible.
