After chatting about a few trivial matters, everyone stood atop the Statue of Liberty's head and continued admiring the view. Peter had originally wanted to go into the city to save people, but after thinking it over, he realized that Deathstroke's men were currently rounding up hidden enemies throughout the city. There did not seem to be much he could do there, so he gave up on the idea.
He might as well stay here, eat some snacks, drink soda, and chat with everyone.
A few minutes later, the Adjutant's projection floated out again. She informed Su Ming, "Klyntar has entered the Solar System. The Scarlet Witch is preparing to engage the enemy. Sheriff, do you want to watch?"
"Yeah, let everyone watch. Put it on a big screen." The Cloak behind Su Ming transformed into a chair, and he sat down comfortably.
As though she were about to play a movie, the Adjutant switched to a larger projection. The image showed the pitch-black depths of space, with a beautiful blue planet slowly rotating within it.
Then, in the next instant, a red shell suddenly appeared around Earth. Wanda's Chaos Dimension had manifested in the Material World.
Next, net-like veins lit up beneath that translucent red shell. This was the effect of A-Net running at maximum power.
S.W.O.R.D.'s space station had already moved aside, avoiding the predicted impact point. The Adjutant even provided a close-up. Behind the command room windows, Carol and Monica seemed to be discussing something, while Carol's special operations team appeared to be preparing for battle as well.
S.W.O.R.D. also had an operations team, whose main duty was handling dirty work involving aliens on Earth.
Good aliens filed declarations before entering the country. Once approved, they would transfer through S.W.O.R.D., where the staff would arrange false identities
