On the microscopic level, all sorts of bizarre fabricated creatures and mechanical units were fighting conventional battles, slaughtering one another on every planet and throughout every stretch of cosmic space.
On the macroscopic level, planets, Single Universes, and their attached concepts collided one after another before vanishing into nothingness.
The Constructors' "fabricated creatures" were obviously much weaker. Often, hundreds of assorted monsters could not kill a single Cartographer of the Beyonders. But they reproduced at astonishing speeds, mutated just as quickly, feared no death, and possessed a wide variety of abilities.
They could sow life like planting flowers and grass, then customize its genes. The process was very simple: scatter "seeds" across a planet. Those seeds could grow on their own or parasitize existing creatures, blooming into flowers before new life emerged from the fruit.
They only needed to manage things at the beginning. After that, it would develop on its own like weeds, effortless and convenient.
Compared with the Beyonders, the Constructors clearly loved the world. It was just that their love was far too obsessive. They believed existing life forms were unworthy of the world, so they had always been trying to create the perfect life form of their ideals.
But their standards were too high. Their so-called perfect life form had to surpass them in every regard, even if it meant they themselves would be eliminated.
The idea was beautiful, but not very realistic in practice. Though somewhat weaker in power, the Constructors were still a formidable race that controlled more than seventy million Parallel Worlds. They wanted to create a new race that surpassed themselves through experiments at the Single Universe
