The creature fighting Sif looked somewhat like a person.

The reason it only looked somewhat like one was that Su Ming could not immediately tell what the thing actually was.

It had a human head, though it was hideous, with crooked eyes and a twisted mouth. Its upper limbs resembled the claws of a crab or lobster, while a huge mass of dark green tentacles replaced its legs. Its body was covered in silt and underwater growths, with quite a bit of solid trash stuck to it as well.

Its movements were a little stiff, but its hide was clearly just as hard. Sif's weapon struggled to inflict any meaningful damage, producing nothing but a series of metallic clangs.

"More seafood crawled out of the water. Why am I not surprised at all?"

Su Ming shook his head and took a drag from his cigarette, quietly watching from the air. In a dimension full of eyeballs and tentacles, the appearance of some bizarre thing with aquatic features seemed perfectly normal to him.

"Sif's combat experience is far too lacking." Hela shook her head dismissively beside him, her long black hair reflecting a faint green glow like a waterfall. "She probably spent too much time in the training grounds. How many centuries has it been since she last fought an enemy to the death?"
