After getting what they wanted from the little supermarket, Harley and the others set off again. They tossed all the large and small shopping bags to the killers to carry while the two women simply walked ahead, laughing and browsing.
In the past, Gotham's streets were usually bustling late at night, but perhaps because of the bad weather, there were far fewer people out today. Even the streetlights seemed dim. The darkness and chaos felt as though they were charging Harley up, making her skip and hop along the way.
Every now and then, they ran into a few guys who had also come out to loot. After all, Another World had invaded today, so things were rather chaotic. Anyone looking to get rich would not miss an opportunity like this.
Under normal circumstances, robbers preying on robbers was common enough. Everyone was robbing people anyway, so who cared who they robbed?
