Superman's face was covered in green, his expression like a mask of agony. He had already inhaled a large amount of Kryptonite spray, and now the skeleton had given him an external application of Kryptonite as well. The pain he was in went without saying.

Still, it was not entirely a bad thing. After all, Batwoman's inventions had benefited Superman as well. Long ago, the Justice League had not even been able to give Superman injections or draw his blood. It was Batman who came up with the idea of a Kryptonite needle.
