Peter looked oddly at the creature before him, something like a hybrid of bird and human. He was not sure whether the two female captains would agree to let this lifeform aboard the ship.
The man looked somewhat like the angels described in the Bible, except far less handsome. Instead, he had a pointy mouth and monkeyish cheeks, and his darting eyes made him look like no good person.
"Because he's one of the birdfolk, a follower of the Eastern Star Goddess from the City of Sephiroth." Little Rose glanced at the squinting birdman and casually explained, "You should know the relationship between Goddess Oshtur and the Sorcerer Supreme. So although he's an alien, he counts as half one of us."
Little Bug understood. Deathstroke was the Sorcerer Supreme, which meant he was the Vishanti's representative on Earth. He did not really understand what that specifically meant; magic was too mysterious.
But if these birdfolk belonged to Oshtur, then it was easier to understand.
"Hello, I'm Peter, an Earthling." The boy rubbed his hands together, set his mask on the table, and spoke with a touch of shyness.
"You should put your mask back on." Little Rose covered her face in exasperation. Anyone could tell Peter was a rookie when he looked like this. "If you're this shy, aliens will eat you alive someday."
"No, no. We're all friends, all friends." The birdman's white wings fluttered behind him as he introduced himself with a smile. "My name is Guda Gugu. Hello, Earth captain."
Peter seemed to feel that his behavior was a little embarrassing. This was not even his first time meeting aliens, yet he always felt like he lacked confidence when speaking.
