Hermione did not hesitate either. She raised her arm and cast the Shield Charm along with a series of defensive spells, then began pacing back and forth on the spot, muttering:
"I need a room that can change the world."
As she repeated those words, she quickly paced back and forth three times before the tapestry. A door instantly appeared in the wall before her. No one could see when it had appeared, as though it had always been there.
She had often studied here and gathered with her friends in the past, so she knew the Room of Requirement inside and out. But today, she did not immediately push the door open. Instead, she turned to the professor beside her and sought his orders.
"Go in. If the enemy wants to prove that I am wrong, it will inevitably want to change the current situation—to change this world. It will be hiding inside."
Hermione took a breath as well. She abruptly twisted the Door Handle, then flicked her wand fiercely toward the Dark Dimension beyond the door. A sickly green ray shot from its tip.
It was Avada Kedavra, cast silently. She had learned it from Grindelwald years ago.
The green ray flashed past, carving a bright trail through the darkness and illuminating some strange clutter. In the end, it struck something in the room, and green light splattered everywhere like sticky slurry.
She flipped her wand away, raised her shotgun, and launched an assault using standard CQB techniques. She fired several shots in the direction her spell had struck, while sensing that the professor beside her had already charged in and brought down a leaping slash.
He seemed to really like that move.
