The three of them entered Stormwind Keep. This was the true heart of the Stormwind Kingdom—the king's residence.
Like most Western castles, it had a long corridor leading to the round throne hall. As the Alliance's military headquarters, there was also a command room beside the throne hall, containing a massive sand table and maps.
On the other side of the Throne Room was a passage leading to the garden, where one could breathe fresh air and play with small animals.
Connected to the garden was a large room: the royal library. The Archaeological Association normally used it, and there was nothing particularly noteworthy about it.
Su Ming entered the Throne Room and, without ceremony, went straight to sit on the throne. After all, it was the only chair in the room.
The stone throne was carved with reliefs of a lion's head and an eagle's head. It looked quite imposing, but for Deathstroke, who had experienced plenty of thrones, he still preferred modern sofas.
"Ah, I'm tired from walking. Let's rest for a while." As he spoke, he patted the throne's armrest and invited Hermione to sit as well. "There aren't any other living people left in the city. Even if there were, I don't plan on looking for them. It's better to let them come looking for us."
Hermione nodded. Though she did not know what the professor was planning, she walked to the side of the throne and sat on an armrest. She took something out of her little bag to eat—probably candy.
She said nothing and naturally did not urge him. She simply waited calmly, offering the jar of candy in her hand to Amber.
Come to think of it, the last time Hermione had come to Azeroth, Jaina had teleported her directly into Stormwind Keep.
