About half an hour later, the group reached the very bottom.
The reason for saying that was because after Su Ming punched through the floor once again, he discovered that below was no longer another prison cell, but a much thicker mass of solid material.
It still looked like a mirror, but everyone knew that mirrors were actually glass coated with a layer of metal on the back. The material here was different, though. No matter from which angle they dug or how deep they went, all they saw was a reflective surface. The only difference was whether it was a flat mirror or a funhouse mirror.
After digging a shaft and confirming that there was still mirror below, Su Ming jumped out of the large pit.
The cell they were in was now packed full, filled with people they had rescued along the way. Even more people remained on the upper levels because there was no room left in the current chamber.
"Alright, everyone's here. I have a few questions for you." Su Ming floated up and hovered above the crowd, asking loudly in English, "Has anyone seen these two people? On the way here after being captured, or before being locked in a cage? Even seeing them in a dream counts."
As he spoke, he used Cosmic Energy to project three-dimensional portraits of the two people: Jaina and Khadgar.
As for whether everyone present understood English, that no longer mattered. If they did not understand, then so be it. This was just a gamble anyway.
The rescued people belonged to all kinds of races, and not all of them came from Azeroth. Some were clearly creatures from completely different worlds. Perhaps their only common trait was that they possessed intelligence and did not look like beasts.
