With a sigh as she pushed open the door, Mindy returned to her Safehouse. Just as she had said, three petty Drug Dealers were not even enough to fill the gaps between her teeth.
After dealing with them and calling the police to handle the drugs in the warehouse, she rode her beloved little motorcycle back to her base. Altogether, it had taken only a few minutes.
This place was deep in the sewers beneath Queen Street in Brooklyn, not far from her home. She could get here underground. She had chosen this address because of something she had learned from Spider-Man comics: they made her feel that Brooklyn residents were all good neighbors.
Though reality differed a little from comics. The neighbors here were not friendly at all, but at least it was quiet enough. Nobody wandered around in the sewers, so the Safehouse she had created by renovating a pipe maintenance room was indeed very safe.
