The Justice Society's current lineup was quite complete. Aside from lacking a Mage, they could handle most situations.

Besides Jay, the seasoned veteran, Wildcat was also highly capable. He had served as a combat instructor for many Superheroes, and like the Dragon-Tiger Brothers, his unarmed fighting skills ranked among the best in the world.

It was just that his way of thinking leaned more toward that of an Anti-Hero, valuing swift vengeance and settling scores. Still, he was not that hardcore an Anti-Hero.
