Dick set the boy down on the rubble before him and pointed at the aircraft glowing red amid the flames nearby, his tone extremely stern. He believed that, as the "big brother," he ought to discipline his "little brother."
But Damian had never fallen for that routine. By the time he had arrived at Batwoman's home, Nightwing had already struck out on his own. Tim had been Robin then, and he was the one who had always spent time with Damian, so they had the closest relationship.
Though they were both members of the Bat-Family, there was clearly no need to listen to the words of this "rebellious big brother."

"It's a Bat-plane. You'll never understand, just as you'll never become Batwoman." Damian turned, slipping free of the hold, then seized Nightwing's wrist and twisted it in the other direction. "And I didn't steal it. I asked Alfred for the key."
