"How was it? Find anything new?"
When he saw the Batman Deathstroke had impersonated knock down the two fakes, and the victims die miserably with blood flowing from all seven orifices, the gorilla knew he had succeeded.
"What just happened should have already been broadcast live. A lot of people must have had their fear of superpowers awakened now. You need to prepare a plan in advance."
"It doesn't matter. If the enemy's plan had succeeded, it might indeed have affected mine. But now that these two fakes died here, they can serve as teaching material and show people just how cunning and despicable those gods of old are."
As he spoke, Su Ming looked up at the sky. The Black Sun was still burning silently, its white corona giving off a cold glow. He suddenly asked the gorilla, "Bobo, you're a bar owner who works the Mystic Side. Have you ever heard whether the ancient gods had some sort of shared mother?"
Hearing Deathstroke's question, the gorilla immediately made a Black-man-question-mark face. He touched his own face and replied, "This gorilla may not be young, but I'm obviously not as old as human history. How would I know their mother? She doesn't sound like the sort of customer who'd come spend money at a bar either."
He had cracked a joke, and it was fairly funny.
But his meaning was simple. Although he was involved in the Magic World, he was still too young. For a gorilla, living over forty years was indeed considered a long life, but among sorcerers, there were plenty who had lived for centuries.
If Deathstroke wanted to ask whether those ancient gods were related, he should find some old-timer with greater seniority and experience, or a prophet capable of glimpsing the secrets of fate.
