After hearing the Adjutant's report about technological energy failures appearing in many Parallel Worlds across Multiverse 1, along with the series of upheavals now occurring on Earth-0, Su Ming said, "You mean Superman disappeared again? Is he addicted to playing hide-and-seek? I only just rescued him from Blank."

Though he appeared not to have spoken and was perfectly playing the role of Batwoman, he was actually ranting furiously through silent communications, sharing his feelings with the Adjutant.

"I'm sorry, Sheriff, but I have no information on Superman's whereabouts either. Please look."

The Adjutant played a recording composed of synchronized Satellite Map footage and roadside surveillance feeds. Superman was seen flying out of the Hall of Justice. To avoid causing misunderstandings, he flew almost at ground level, listening intently as he went. As previously mentioned, he had apparently followed Batwoman out and was searching for signs of her.

Su Ming was not optimistic about that, because the Dark Man could not possibly be found by him. This was a new operational habit Batwoman had developed after the BVS battle.

It was meant for the possibility that Superman might suddenly turn evil one day, allowing Batwoman to ambush him from the darkness.

Just as he was thinking about it, something changed in the footage in his mind. The instant Superman passed through a surveillance blind spot and was obscured by a building awning, he vanished, as though swallowed by the night.

"Oh? The footage hasn't been altered or had frames removed? Like one of Wong Kar-wai's films?"

Su Ming asked the Adjutant far away. The tracking program was still running without producing any results, which meant that, in truth, he too was currently considered missing by many people.

"No, Sheriff. I verified
