"You obviously know that the Detective Chimp that fat bastard mentioned definitely isn't me. This is a Parallel World, and it was most likely some freakish thing Pralaya created."
"So when you said earlier that things felt familiar, you were sensing another version of yourselves?"
Hermione smiled as well. She put away her wand and spoke to the chimp.
"Why else would I say this was going to get funny?" The chimp pulled out his pipe and stuffed a balled-up wad of leaf into it. "If this really is a Parallel Universe molded with Earth-0 as the template, then there are probably other Superheroes here too."
The darkly amusing part was that the other him might have been fabricated by Pralaya. She really was a "mother."
As for whether other Superheroes or Superhumans existed in this world, he and Deathstroke had reached a similar conclusion earlier. Everyone had remained perfectly calm after seeing Yrel's appearance, which meant this place definitely had supernatural things and people were used to them.
Of course, there was another possibility: Pralaya had tampered with this world so that all nonhuman beings looked human in the eyes of the local residents.
