The Dreaming was filled with all sorts of adorable things.
There were houses built from giant cookies, flowers that sang and danced, Uncle Sun smiling down from overhead, and Uncle Wind puffing out his cheeks and blowing.
A dreamy realm was simply this wonderful. Even the sunlight here felt different.
By comparison, the Dreaming was like a phone with a level-ten beauty filter switched on, making everything look fresh and bright. The Material World of Multiverse 1, meanwhile, was like China through a BBC camera lens, where everything beneath that underworld filter looked dark.
No matter what, in an environment this cute, finding a cute animal was fairly easy.
After leaving the castle and passing the slide in the square, Su Ming roughly got his bearings and headed toward the village. After all, the animals in the Dreaming wore clothes and spoke English. They had their own villages, and cats were no exception.
However, as they walked along a forest path dappled with shade, Strangle caught the scent of a cat. It led its host toward a small lake nearby. After passing through dense bushes, they saw a cat sitting by the shore with a fishing rod in its paws, dozing off.
It had presumably come to fish, but after waiting so long without a bite, it had fallen asleep without realizing it. A bubble beneath its little nose grew and shrank with every breath.
Su Ming grinned when he saw it. He recognized this cat; that smile was far too familiar.
"Pspsps~" He made the sound humans commonly used to call cats. For some reason, both cats and dogs seemed to react to that sort of call.
The sleeping cat was no exception. The bubble on its nose popped, and in its fluster, it nearly dropped the fishing rod
