Oliver's Queen Industries mainly dealt in heavy machinery, transportation, and logistics. It also had subsidiaries handling real estate, financial investments, and the like.
Its technology wasn't particularly advanced. It was more of a labor-intensive business, without the muscle to spearhead a technological revolution like Wayne Enterprises or LexCorp. Still, it made plenty of money.
Oliver himself, though, was hardly a qualified boss. He rarely went to the office, and on the occasions he made a decision, it was usually the wrong one. He either got swindled or betrayed.
There wasn't much he could do about it. Oliver's "origin" had cast him as a man burdened by hardship and grudges. All sorts of frustrating, miserable things could happen to him, even when a smart man should logically have been able to avoid them.
Maybe someone had arranged it that way for him.
But that was fine. Oliver might have said he didn't have much money left, but his family fortune was still worth tens of billions of dollars. Even a starving camel was bigger than a horse. Too much of his wealth was tied up in real estate; he simply had less cash on hand than Batwoman.
