"Another planet in the sky?"
Setting down the teapot, Takuya looked out the window, though it was merely a habitual gesture. He quickly replied, "I remember it having been there ever since I arrived. I never paid much attention to it because it looked gray, and I always took it for a larger moon. I'm terribly sorry."
He had not really done anything wrong. This was a vacation spot, and it was located in the unfamiliar reaches of space. Who would pay attention to what the celestial bodies overhead looked like?
He was a motorcyclist and a Superhero, but certainly not an astronomer.
Still, this was how things worked in Japan. When an elder asked about something and you did not know the answer, you simply apologized.
"There's a problem now. When I first discovered Spider Planet, Proxima Centauri clearly wasn't nearby." Su Ming lifted his teacup and took a sip. The tea was very ordinary, just matcha powder bought from a supermarket and mixed with water.
How should he put it? It felt like rubbing the powder off a matcha cookie and steeping it in boiling water. It was bland, but that suited Su Ming just fine. He was not used to traditional matcha paste.
"Could it be that you remembered wrong, meow?" The cat raised its tail, suddenly interested.
What could be invisible yet still be there? The answer was probably Dream, meow~
"The odds of me making a mistake are quite low. Heh." Su Ming stroked the cat from its head all the way to the flame at the tip of its tail and smiled. "Something must have happened during the time between when I discovered this planet beneath our feet and when I gave it to Takuya—something I failed to notice."
That was normal enough. He
