Su Ming did not care about that "neither here nor there" detail. He had long since gotten used to these number games. As long as he knew the cosmic constant was "seven," it did not really matter whether the other numbers were greater or fewer.

He had gained something from the new intelligence, though not much, so he asked another question:

"Then, TOAA, of the so-called 'divinity' in human common knowledge, which part of these four does it usually consist of?"

"Any of them is possible. Different gods have different circumstances." The golden man seemed to have guessed what Deathstroke was considering. He shook his head. "CAAT's circumstances are unknown. It stands higher than I do at present, and I cannot see its full form either. You will have to see it for yourself."

"All right, then that's the only way. Let's hope there's still enough time." Su Ming lowered his head and pondered for a moment, then spread his hands with a helpless look. Suddenly, he pointed toward one corner of the sky and shouted, "Look! A plane!"

TOAA froze. How could there possibly be a human creation like an airplane within a space entirely under his control? Had CAAT's methods already reached this place?

He immediately turned to look, but the white light on the ceiling remained unchanged. There was no plane at all.

But when he was about to mock Deathstroke's cheap prank, he discovered that both the human and the cat had vanished. Also gone was the bucket of "paint" that had been sitting beside his backside.

He took a deep breath, tilted his head to think for a moment, and soon a faint smile appeared on his face. Then he resumed his toilet-squatting posture, turned the chessboard back into an upright, rolling wall, and continued
