But now, it had discovered several terrifying things. First, its resistance to physical attacks had vanished as though it had never existed.
Second, as a Concept Manifestation, it had become a fixed body of flesh and blood.
The second point was the most terrifying of all. Perhaps because it now possessed flesh and blood, it was experiencing an emotion it had never known before. Even without anyone teaching it, it understood what it was: fear.
