Just like that, the host and the Symbiotes sat on the sofa and watched the news for quite a while. Some segments were rather serious, while plenty were entertaining, but overall, the changes in a place like Maine were not as obvious as in a major city like New York.
People here did not face much pressure in life, nor did they have any particularly obvious ambitions. Only around thirty percent of the population had gone into space, while most of the rest were still waiting and watching.
But none of that mattered. It was only a matter of time; all they needed now was patience.
So after watching a few news segments, Su Ming turned more of his attention to the various data Adjutant reported. Numbers did not lie, and many problems still had to be understood through the data.
Basically, she did all the talking, gave her analyses and judgments, then offered recommendations. Deathstroke only had to nod or shake his head. It was hardly demanding mental work.

Free trade!' routine. My space caravans used to handle it, but now independent traders are running the routes, and I just take a cut and collect taxes."
