Faced with his father's concern, Damian silently rubbed his face. Then, instead of throwing himself into his father's arms and crying like an ordinary child, he reached for his belt.

Though Robin was young, he was a true Gotham native. In particular, he had learned Batman's spirit of questioning everything. The moment Deathstroke appeared before him and spoke his first sentence, the boy knew he was a fake.
