Whenever Deathstroke went out for a stroll in the past, he would always wander through the Multiverse selection interface, picking worlds he wanted to visit. It felt a little like choosing vegetables at a market, though there were differences.
For universes with similar settings, he usually only needed one or two. Any more than that, and he lost interest.
Take worlds with a Radiation Wasteland backdrop, for example. After visiting Fallout and Mad Max, he had seen everything there was to see. Stories about people fighting over resources in the apocalypse were all more or less the same.
So Su Ming could not be bothered to visit the countless other post-apocalyptic worlds. Not to mention that some universes had such unfamiliar stories that he could not even remember their corresponding names.
Other types of universes were much the same. For magical worlds, once he had Dungeons & Dragons and Lord of the Rings, Su Ming could not be bothered with similarly styled universes like The Golden Compass or Dark Matter.
Of course, that might have meant missing out on some things. But the strength of a fighter did not lie in how many abilities they possessed. It lay in whether they had a single move that could handle anything.
But the worlds he had once looked down on were useful today. They could serve as testing grounds.
