Continuing straight ahead was probably the wrong answer. Not only did this corridor stretch infinitely forward, but even if they truly reached the end, they might encounter a dead end, just like the wall that had been behind him earlier.
So if they wanted to investigate this unusual space, or go beyond it, the clues were most likely in the rooms on either side of the corridor. In other words, they still had to play the puzzle game.
"According to The One Above All, we should be in The World of Action now, right?" Su Ming asked Strangle as he studied the brass-colored panel before him, rubbing his chin.
When they had gone to Idea House to find that golden man earlier, the man had provided some information. Though human cognition was limited, he had at least named the first two layers of Mystery.
The World of Creation and The World of Action.
As its name implied, The World of Creation should be connected to authority over all kinds of creations, while The World of Action was most likely related to all kinds of actions.
That was why, after obtaining information from the Uni-Force Spectre and acquiring the power of Mystery, Su Ming had concluded that he could ascend from the Marvel Universe into Mystery through the act of "being funny."
In Marvel's unusual environment, being funny was an action with an extremely high priority. Sometimes, it could even defy common sense.
Common sense—or rather, human knowledge—made people feel that something incredible or indescribable was unreasonable. But in truth, it was quite possibly a power that surpassed the level humanity inhabited.
Just as some worlds put it, magic might simply be a phenomenon of energy transformation that human technology could not yet explain.
Furthermore, Su Ming had long known that
