The Fourth Trial felt different the moment he entered.

The first trial had only a narrow, elongated corridor. The second had been a somewhat more spacious warehouse. The third had been a small town and a boundless sea. But now, Su Ming felt as though he had entered a complete world.

He had landed in a city. It looked somewhat unfamiliar, yet many places also seemed familiar. It appeared to contain echoes of every human city on Earth.

He was lying on a road, with a streetlamp not far away. When he reached out to touch it, the streetlamp bloomed with a flower as a gift.

It was clearly a cast-iron lamp post, yet it had grown a sunflower. That was truly abstract.

The streets were paved with mirror-smooth asphalt, flanked by neat sidewalks. Traffic lights and road signs at railroad crossings instructed drivers to obey traffic laws, but in truth, there was not a single car or person on the roads.

In the city parks, leaves rustled gently above broad stretches of green grass. These new plants looked vibrant beneath the sunlight, while motionless cartoon dolls clung to the trunks beside the ponds.
