A pager-like little device flashed continuously. A small white hand picked it up, brushed the red-and-blue screen, then pressed the power button. Its owner then spoke in a carefree voice:

"The Avengers called a meeting? I'm not going. What about you?"

"I'm not going either, hehe."

The woman beside her laughed. She had a beeping pager too, but instead of using her finger to turn it off, she used the corner of her hammer, as though that made shutting it down more decisive:

"Thor is in the Avengers. What would a half-baked Thor like me even do there? Besides, whenever I run into him, he always looks at me with this especially longing gaze. It's really awkward."
