The Justice League had never had many issues with Batwoman's commands. With a nod, The Flash turned into a streak of lightning, and the next second, he was back where he had started, dragging the utterly bewildered Legendary Green Lantern with him.

"Wait, what exactly is going on?"

Hal steadied himself, first looking around and confirming that they were in the Batcave. Then he looked at everyone else, and finally at the Shadow Monster bound to the Final Machine. At once, realization dawned on him, and he laughed.

"I get it. Barry's getting married tomorrow, so tonight is the traditional bachelor party, right? The Batcave really is a great venue. Heh, atmospheric. Especially that cake you prepared—it's brilliant. It looks just like a charred corpse! Hahaha!"

Even among the many Green Lanterns, Hal was famous for his steadfast willpower and absurd optimism. He always seemed able to find some reason to convince himself—or rather, his ability to fill in the blanks was exceptionally strong.

That was a good thing. Paired with the Green Lantern Ring, which let him create constructs from energy in battle, a rich imagination was a major advantage.

It was just that at a time like this, he was the only one laughing. The rest of the team merely stared at him with speechless expressions.

"Haha, ha... uh. So that isn't a cake that looks like a charred corpse, right?"

After several seconds of deadlock, Hal sensed the atmosphere as well. The smile gradually faded from his face as he looked at the two Batwomen with downturned mouths and asked.

Neither of them spoke. They merely shook their heads lightly, but that silence seemed deafening.

"It isn't a cake, nor is it a charred corpse, Lantern." Superman, ever the nice guy, was the one to answer him.
