In the DC Universe, there were only a few famous cat lovers—Catwoman, Ozymandias, Harley, and that mercenary warlord in Africa who liked raising lions, codenamed Red Lion. He counted as half of one.
Other than them, there was no one. Batwoman and Superman, for instance, were dog people.
Still, Dream of a Thousand Cats and Dream of a Thousand Dogs did not get along particularly well. None of the Dreams who had come today included that dog, and no one should expect cats and dogs to show up together.
But when Dream of a Thousand Mice appeared, cats and dogs presented a united front. They both liked catching mice, though that was another matter.
Many people might not know that Batwoman had a dog. More accurately, it could not really be said that she raised it herself.
The dog was named Ace, and calling it the Bat-Hound would not be wrong. It normally lived in a doghouse in the garden behind Wayne Manor, a garden spanning more than ten acres. Alfred handled its feeding, care, poop-scooping, and so on.
As for Batwoman, whenever she remembered, she would go take a look and play with the dog for a while, tossing a frisbee and such.
Most of the time, it was perfectly normal for her not to look at the dog for months. So the dog should really count as Alfred's.
