I wanted to write about a bigger universe, more characters, and more meaningful events—to make the story feel deeper, more thoughtful, and more real.

Unfortunately, constrained by all kinds of external factors, that was not possible.

The story outline underwent many revisions, and messages from editors demanding changes came one after another. Twice, the entire book nearly got banned.

All of that told me that dark stories that were brutal and touched on reality might not suit
