Su Ming ignored Satana's surprise. With a casual swipe, he smoothed the wrinkles on the bed, then stood and walked over to Hela. She looked as she always did: pale skin, a tight black-and-green leather outfit, an intricate crown on her head, and the scent of Death Spore Flowers clinging to her body.
"Tell me. Why are you so eager to get involved in this?"
"As one of the dead, I'm better suited to deal with Dracula. I can help you, on the condition that Magik returns Tyr's soul to me." Hela folded her arms and lifted her chin.
"Is it exhausting without court ministers? Makes sense. Fenris really can't help you govern a country." Su Ming smiled. Tyr was still being held in Limbo. The terms he had negotiated with Hela hadn't included Tyr's freedom.
It seemed that after just a few days, Hela could no longer take it. She had once been the kind of ruler who tossed everything aside, but now every little mess required her personal attention. Misery naturally followed.
"Don't change the subject. Just tell me whether you'll agree or not. Beating around the bush will only make me think less of you."
Hela understood that she had been the one to lose out back then. She had only noticed how favorable the terms were, overlooked Tyr's situation, and walked right into the trap.
"Then you can leave. I don't like you." Su Ming spread his hands. If her princess syndrome was acting up again, she could go find Odin. What did that have to do with him?
If Hela couldn't get Tyr back, she would definitely return and cultivate new followers. Tyr would become useless to her. But Su Ming had no intention of indulging her habits. Did she think Earth was still Midgard?
