"This isn't about whether you'll learn quickly or not." Though Tanith sat down, she kept looking at the child in her arms, her face full of hesitation.

Su Ming tapped the table, and his helmet retracted from his face. "You're thinking about how your husband didn't say a single word to you before rushing off to catch people for me, right?"

"I'm fine. It's just that he didn't even hold the child." Tanith let out a slow sigh.

"That's reality. By human standards, he's a qualified politician. You aren't." Su Ming crossed his arms and looked at Hela, who seemed to be asleep on the other side of the room. "And I don't think this is the time for you to deal with relationship problems."

Hela was neither alive nor dead. She had no need to sleep at all; she simply could not be bothered to open her eyes.

Thinking about it, that made sense. The Underworld was dark everywhere, with nothing but the faint glow of green lightning and nothing fun to do. After all these years, what else could she do besides pretend to sleep?
