"Barry, build a bonfire here. The kind big enough to roast an entire cow."
Su Ming tossed down his lighter and cigarettes, then removed his disguise, revealing the black-and-yellow armor beneath.
Barry turned to look at the cross-shaped gravestone beside them. It was somewhat damaged, but at least it was still fairly clean.
"Uh... are we really going to barbecue in front of someone's grave?"
"Of course. It's for this world."
Su Ming took out a small bat-shaped oxygen tank, lifted his helmet, put the mouthpiece in his mouth, then sealed the helmet again before answering indistinctly.
"Sigh... I feel like I'll never be able to look Aquaman from our world in the eye again."
Though Barry said that, his body was more honest. In the blink of an eye, a huge pile of firewood appeared before them, stacked into an enormous bonfire. Somehow, he had even found gasoline and was pouring it over the wood.
Seeing him obediently comply, Su Ming could not help but marvel at how useful the banner of righteousness was. It could send even Superheroes running in circles.
Whether the plan matched Barry's values or not, he did not have especially strong opinions and would not put up much resistance. Invoking the safety of the world truly worked every time.
He had Barry make preparations while he walked out onto the pier and plunged headfirst into the water.
Mercy Harbor was not a major port. Strictly speaking, there were not even many boats here. Mercy Town was on the other side of the cliff, where the townspeople had another place to dock their boats. This was merely a sheltered harbor where ships came to hide during hurricanes. Its location was good, but it was normally of no use at all.
This was his first time
