"This is no small favor, Mercenary."
Mazikeen wore living armor wrapped around her like veins of flesh and blood. The Skeleton Sword in her hand cleaved an angel in two, then she planted it atop the fortress. This was the highest point of Black Stone Castle.
She stood here, upon Lucifer's palace, looking over Lucifer's realm. She had inherited his angelic power, and she had to pay a price for it.
That price was protecting this place forever.
"You want me to go with you to the Main World and search for a Demon Batman who may or may not exist."
"As a demon who possesses angelic power uniquely suited to restraining chaos, no one is more suitable than you." Su Ming stood beside her, having likewise killed several angels that flew their way.
This position was far too conspicuous. While they could see the entire battlefield clearly, everyone on that battlefield could see them just as clearly.
If the angels had considered the gap in strength, they might not have entertained any notions of capturing the bandits by first capturing their leader. Unfortunately, they were far too insane now.
The chasm in power had been filled by the madness in their minds.
Thus, they charged one after another at the Lord of Hell like moths to a flame. Mazikeen had now inherited Lucifer's angelic power. Though it was not all his power, it was still far beyond the control of these nameless angels.
Unless the likes of Gabriel and Raphael emerged, no number of ordinary angels would be anything more than a number to Mazikeen. Besides, with the angelic army tied down here, the other Demon Lords of Hell naturally would not stand idly by.
It was impossible for them to voluntarily help Mazikeen, but even without a deal,
