Ch. 3905Time Tricks

Su Ming explained how the Good Witch split Bridges Village’s Timeline to hide the Magic Box and protect the village, revealing why it appeared during their visit. He and Luthor concluded the Witch had arranged their arrival, while Damian remained convinced Deathstroke was his father as they waited for someone to approach.

  • Su Ming explained that the Good Witch hid Bridges Village and the Magic Box in a slowed Pocket Dimension, while its other Timeline branch became Siamor Village.
  • Luthor accepted that their arrival at the village during its once-a-century return was likely arranged by the Good Witch rather than a coincidence.
  • The cat told Damian that Deathstroke was his father, and Damian calmly said he already knew.
  • Damian watched the Legion of Doom members enjoying ordinary lives and decided Deathstroke was better than Batwoman.
  • Damian asked to drink, and Deathstroke let him and the cat try something low-proof while predicting someone would soon come looking for them.

Ch. 3906Witch's Summons

Su Ming and his group waited at the bar until the Good Witch sent a note inviting them to meet her. They left the village and crossed its festive square, while Deathstroke's strange dancing unsettled Grodd and Luthor warned the gorilla not to provoke him.

  • Su Ming, Luthor, Deathstroke, and the others waited at the bar as Legion of Doom members repeatedly asked Deathstroke for gold.
  • A red Butterfly delivered the Good Witch's perfumed note, and Su Ming's group prepared to leave.
  • The group crossed the village square, where Su Ming saw that the church worshipped the Crystal Goddess and Deathstroke danced among the villagers.
  • Damian imitated Deathstroke's dancing, while Grodd silently told Luthor that Deathstroke's unchanging smile frightened him.
  • Luthor warned Grodd that provoking Deathstroke could get him killed and said he would not save him.

Ch. 3907Taking the Initiative to Meet Up

Deathstroke led Luthor and the others to the Good Witch’s cottage, where they met Adora, Princess of Eternia. Adora agreed to join them after helping defend the village the next day, and Deathstroke offered to help protect its magical treasure box from Hordak before inviting her to share a meal.

  • Luthor activated his armor’s Mental Shield to block Grodd’s telepathic connection as the group traveled deeper into the village.
  • Deathstroke led the group to the Good Witch’s cottage and told them to let him handle negotiations.
  • The Good Witch welcomed Deathstroke and explained that the Parrot Fairy had told her they were coming.
  • Adora introduced herself as Princess of Eternia and said she could not leave immediately because she had to protect the village from The Horde.
  • Deathstroke guessed Adora’s reason and offered to stay overnight and help defend the magical treasure box from Hordak.
  • Adora accepted Deathstroke’s meal invitation, and he produced a roasted camel and other food for the group.

Ch. 3908Happy Times

Su Ming, Luthor, and the Legion of Doom shared a meal with Princess Adora while Luthor questioned her about the Rebels. When a Horde ship approached, Amazo destroyed it, and the group decided to wait for Hordak to arrive.

  • Adora ate and answered Luthor’s questions about the Rebels while he offered advice on their government and military.
  • Su Ming and the others enjoyed hotpot and music with Adora and the Good Witch.
  • Deathstroke detected an approaching Horde ship and ordered Amazo to intercept it.
  • Adora prepared to join the fight, but Cheetah and others argued that Amazo could handle the enemy alone.
  • Amazo returned with wreckage after destroying the ship, and Luthor told Adora to wait for Hordak to come in person.

Ch. 3909Another World Paratroopers

As the Horde's fleets attacked the village, Deathstroke sent She-Ra and Swift Wind to confront Hordak while the Legion of Doom and others protected the villagers. The defenders held their positions as Deathstroke and She-Ra left the village airspace to fight the enemy.

  • More Horde ships approached the village, and Amazo fought them while Deathstroke assigned the Legion of Doom to defend the settlement.
  • Adora transformed into She-Ra and changed her horse into the winged Unicorn Swift Wind.
  • Deathstroke declined to ride with She-Ra, and they flew away from the village to avoid collateral damage.
  • Luthor organized the Legion of Doom's defenses, while Damian and Cyborg rescued villagers and dealt with falling wreckage.
  • The Big Cat stayed with the Good Witch to guard her magic box and declined to explain Mother Boxes.

Ch. 3910Nonsense Expert

Deathstroke and Princess She-Ra fought through the Horde fleet while Amazo drew enemy fire, and Deathstroke proposed capturing Hordak to negotiate Etheria’s independence. As She-Ra questioned her past with Hordak, Deathstroke guessed that Hordak still considered her his daughter and might be fighting the Rebels under Horde Prime’s orders.

  • Deathstroke and She-Ra flew through the Horde fleet, destroying ships as Swift Wind carried the princess and Strangle briefly handled Deathstroke’s weapon.
  • She-Ra doubted that their small group could survive an assault on Hordak’s fleet, but Deathstroke said Amazo would draw fire while they captured Hordak alive.
  • She-Ra asked whether Deathstroke knew that Hordak had taken her from Eternia and raised her as his daughter, and Deathstroke confirmed he did.
  • Deathstroke pointed out that Hordak could have crippled the Rebels by controlling their access to salt but had never done so.
  • Deathstroke guessed that Hordak still cared for She-Ra and might have been compelled by Horde Prime to fight the Rebels, then said he could negotiate Etheria’s independence.

Ch. 3911Two Daks

She-Ra and Deathstroke flew through the Horde fleet to confront Hordak aboard his flagship, while Deathstroke speculated that Hordak had been deliberately prolonging the war for his own gain. After Strangle began dismantling the ship and Hordak attacked, Deathstroke deflected his energy blast and announced he had come to negotiate.

  • She-Ra questioned whether Hordak had gone easy on the Rebels in the past, while Deathstroke reasoned that Hordak had been exploiting the war to gain resources and power.
  • Deathstroke urged She-Ra to identify Hordak’s flagship, and she pointed out the ship with a red bat relief on its prow.
  • Deathstroke used his Cloak to propel himself, She-Ra, and Swift Wind through the fleet’s defenses and onto the flagship’s forward deck.
  • Deathstroke ordered Strangle to dismantle the flagship, sending its machinery, troops, and a green-skinned overseer plunging toward the ground.
  • Hordak levitated and fired an energy blast at Deathstroke, who cut it in two and declared that he had come to discuss terms.

Ch. 3912Market Research

Deathstroke defeated Hordak and crippled the Horde fleet, then learned that Horde Prime was away on a five-hundred-year vacation. He planned to question Hordak and explore Etheria’s resources while deciding whether to deal with Horde Prime as well.

  • Deathstroke deduced that Hordak could not negotiate openly because Horde Prime’s observers were watching, then knocked Hordak unconscious with a frying pan and sent She-Ra back to the cottage with the Cloak of Levitation.
  • Deathstroke summoned a Black Sun and used Force Lightning to disable the Horde ships, causing them to crash around the village.
  • Strangle learned from a dead commander’s brain that Horde Prime was on vacation and had forbidden anyone from disturbing him for five hundred years.
  • Deathstroke returned to the village square and decided to question Hordak about whether defeating Horde Prime could be handled along with establishing a trade station.
  • Deathstroke considered Etheria’s soul-bearing crystals, Magic Cats, and Nucleon Mines as valuable resources for his plans.

Ch. 3913Cigar Diplomacy

Deathstroke negotiated a deal with Hordak that would help him overthrow Horde Prime and pass Etheria’s universe to Adora, in exchange for free trade. After confirming where Horde Prime had gone, Deathstroke left with Damian to pursue him.

  • Luthor suggested negotiating with Hordak instead of imprisoning or killing him, and Deathstroke took the captive to a cellar with She-Ra.
  • Big Cat agreed to send dreams to the magical cats so they would become Deathstroke’s friends.
  • Deathstroke broke down Hordak’s defenses over a cigar and learned that Hordak blamed Horde Prime for the oppression of Etheria.
  • Hordak agreed to let Deathstroke help kill Horde Prime and place him on the throne, then give his universe to Adora.
  • Deathstroke confirmed that Horde Prime had gone to the Horde family’s old vacation palace universe and left with Damian.

Ch. 3914Happy Vacation

Su Ming and Damian visited Horde Prime’s bone-covered palace planet and learned that he had gone fishing. They prepared an ambush at the Bone Sea, where Horde Prime’s rod suddenly hooked something alive.

  • Su Ming and Damian arrived at Horde Prime’s ancestral palace-planet and examined its buildings and roads, all made from bones and surrounded by poisonous mushrooms.
  • Su Ming and Damian entered a repair station, where Strangle killed a Horde attendant and learned that Horde Prime had gone fishing.
  • Su Ming planned to ambush Horde Prime and told Damian to use the Fifth-Dimensional Being can to play a joke on him.
  • Horde Prime fished from a bone pier over the Bone Sea while his guards watched, and his rod suddenly began to shake as something living took the hook.

Ch. 3915Deathstroke Rings Out

Horde Prime caught a living, endlessly layered box of flesh and opened it while its music grew increasingly ominous. After the box exposed his inability to distinguish shades of red and he killed two guards in anger, Horde Prime suddenly died, leaving the Imperial Guard in chaos.

  • Horde Prime reeled a living cube of flesh from the bone-filled sea and opened its successive colored layers as music played.
  • The flesh mocked Horde Prime for confusing different lipstick shades, so he summoned a guard to test whether he could tell the colors apart.
  • When the guard identified two shades as different, Horde Prime tore out his heart and blasted him to ash.
  • Horde Prime tried the same test with a second guard, but collapsed into the sea before he could kill him.
  • The Imperial Guard pulled Horde Prime from the water and found his body shriveled and long dead as the eerie bells faded away.

Ch. 3916Justice League: Poisoning in Secret

Deathstroke explained how he poisoned Horde Prime and returned to Etheria with Damian. He proposed upgrading Cyborg to help fight Darkseid, but Luthor and Grodd questioned whether Victor was worth the effort, leaving Cyborg angry and humiliated.

  • Deathstroke explained to Damian how he had manipulated Horde Prime into drinking Tears of Apoptosis and other poisons, while Damian returned the captured Fifth-Dimensional Being to King Robin’s Spatial Belt.
  • Deathstroke told Damian that they would upgrade Cyborg using his Mother Box, a captured Father Box, Luthor’s and Hordak’s expertise, and the Good Witch’s magic; Damian agreed to persuade Victor.
  • Deathstroke and Damian returned to Etheria, where Deathstroke explained the plan to Luthor and the others.
  • Luthor dismissed the need to upgrade Cyborg, and Grodd mocked Victor for being unable to reproduce.
  • Cyborg angrily challenged Grodd, but Damian restrained him as Grodd continued to taunt him and compare him unfavorably to Barry.

Ch. 3917Ever-Changing Cyborg

Deathstroke arranged for Cyborg to undergo an upgrade using Hordak's equipment, restoring him to flesh and blood but giving him a bizarre new shapeshifting body. The chapter ended with Cyborg waking to learn he could transform into household products made by Wilson factories.

  • Su Ming deduced that Luthor had secretly used Deathstroke's money to buy souvenirs for experiments with spacetime magic and had pretended to oppose Cyborg's upgrade to manipulate him.
  • Deathstroke promised Cyborg an upgrade that could restore his reproductive ability, and Cyborg eagerly agreed.
  • Deathstroke's group traveled to Hordak's laboratory, where Luthor, the Good Witch, and Deathstroke performed the surgery before dawn.
  • Hordak granted She-Ra her princess status and command over the robots and Beast Men after Horde Prime's death.
  • Deathstroke explained that Cyborg had been given a shapeshifting body, Amazo-like learning abilities, and programs from the Wilson Department Store catalog and a shopping encyclopedia.
  • Cyborg woke up in the body of an elderly Black woman and learned from Deathstroke that he could transform into household products such as microwaves, ovens, and washing machines.

Ch. 3918Change Early, Enjoy Early

Deathstroke finished upgrading Cyborg into a Transforming Appliances specialist and convinced him that his new abilities could help in the fight against Darkseid. The team returned to Castle Grayskull, where Cyborg cooked a meal for everyone, including the Parrot Fairy.

  • Deathstroke tested Cyborg’s new transformations and told him to study the MacGyver series for ways to turn ordinary goods into weapons.
  • Deathstroke encouraged Cyborg by claiming he might face hundreds of billions of Apokolips troops, and Cyborg resolved to do his best.
  • Deathstroke had Cyborg turn into a rice cooker, and the group returned to Castle Grayskull in Eternia.
  • Cyborg transformed into kitchen appliances and cooked rice, shredded pork, fried chicken, and other food for the team and She-Ra.
  • Deathstroke offered the Parrot Fairy a bowl of rice, the last chicken leg, and soup.

Ch. 3919God of Support

She-Ra learned about the Sword Vigor and Deathstroke’s bargain with Parrot Fairy, then took up the sword to help find a path to Darkseid’s hidden forces. The group prepared to depart from Castle Grayskull, while Deathstroke asked Witch Lynn to explain Skeletor’s plan.

  • She-Ra asked Parrot Fairy about her missing brother Adam and learned that the Sword of Protection was a copy of the genuine Sword Vigor.
  • Deathstroke told She-Ra to wield the Sword Vigor against Skeletor, the Apokolips Legion, and the Evil Thought Nobles, and to find the hidden route between worlds.
  • She-Ra pulled the Sword Vigor from the ground, filling the Dark Room with white light.
  • The group returned to the great hall, where Dream recognized that Cyborg had grown stronger and Deathstroke planned to send She-Ra and the new Cyborg as the main force.
  • Parrot Fairy took Dream’s place at the Crystal Ball and warned that Castle Grayskull could hold out for only about ten days.
  • Deathstroke asked Witch Lynn to reveal the details of Skeletor’s horrifying plan.

Ch. 3920In the Abyss

Deathstroke led the group out of Castle Grayskull through a hidden slide while the battle between the Evil Thought Nobles and Apokolips continued outside. After Cheetah emerged with a painful friction burn, Deathstroke set their next objective: find and capture Apokolips’s commander in Eternia.

  • The group passed an imprisoned ancient god in Castle Grayskull’s dungeon and opened the secret passage beneath the straw in an empty cell.
  • Deathstroke slid down first, then told Damian that he had meant what he said about turning Cyborg into household appliances for a Super Soldier family.
  • Deathstroke told Damian that Cyborg could insert the USB drive into any opening on his body and did not need to return it.
  • The group descended the long slide into a bone-filled abyss, where Cheetah emerged clutching her burned tail while the others avoided injury.
  • Deathstroke projected a map and told She-Ra their priority was finding Apokolips’s commander, setting Skeletor’s plans aside.

Ch. 3921Target Location

She-Ra’s group set out from Castle Grayskull toward Mount Zola, the boundary between Eternia’s light and dark sides. In the pitch-black canyon, Deathstroke ordered Cyborg to transform into a vehicle so they could begin their journey.

  • She-Ra chose Mount Zola as the group’s destination and planned to head east toward a village for transportation.
  • Luthor and Deathstroke argued that Space Tiger should stay at Castle Grayskull to protect Parrot Fairy from Witch Lynn.
  • She-Ra tried to lead the group through the dark canyon, but Deathstroke stopped her and suggested Cyborg become their transport.
  • Cyborg questioned how he could turn into a vehicle, while Damian cited transforming robots as an example.
  • Deathstroke told Cyborg to use the knowledge implanted through Strangle and ordered him to transform into a Rocket Car.

Ch. 3922Good Car, Good Road

She-Ra guided Deathstroke, Luthor, Grodd, and their companions toward Mount Zola while Deathstroke explained its role in Eternia’s balance of light and darkness. The group prepared to find Darkseid’s invasion commander and left open the possibility that the mission could change unexpectedly.

  • She-Ra piloted the luxury flying car toward Mount Zola while Grodd admired its interior and asked about acquiring its manufacturing technology.
  • Deathstroke described Mount Zola as a seal and fuse that maintained Eternia’s balance of light and darkness, which Darkseid would need to disrupt to engulf the world or rewrite its rules.
  • Luthor proposed using Daniel to search for the concepts beneath Mount Zola, but Deathstroke said their priority was finding Darkseid’s commander and a path to their ultimate target universe.
  • Deathstroke warned the group about a masked enemy who could control others, and Luthor agreed to distribute Mind Shields among the Legion of Doom.
  • Deathstroke and Luthor agreed they would not abandon anyone if their plans changed, then joked about Luthor’s effort to join forces with the Justice League.

Ch. 3923Tree God

Deathstroke discussed dreams with Luthor while Dream slept, and the group became lost in an Eternian forest after She-Ra guided them. She-Ra called on the Tree God, which emerged to warn them about a dark Cosmic Giant at the boundary.

  • Deathstroke explained to Luthor that the Dream of a Thousand Cats and Daniel were dreams, but Luthor said he never slept and therefore never dreamed.
  • Deathstroke teased Luthor about his belief that sleeping would hinder humanity’s progress, while Dream fell asleep on the carriage sofa.
  • She-Ra dismissed Cyborg’s warning that their companions were villains and guided the carriage, but the group got lost in the forest.
  • Deathstroke realized She-Ra did not know the roads because her mount, Swift Wind, usually navigated for her.
  • She-Ra raised her brother’s Sword Vigor and called for the Tree God, which rose from the soil and warned that a dark Cosmic Giant was at the boundary.

Ch. 3924That Lord

Deathstroke’s group found the Tree God at Mount Zola and revived him so he could answer their questions and guide them. He identified their enemy only as “That Lord,” and the group set off toward the mountain, planning to use their usual decapitation strategy.

  • She-Ra asked the Tree God for directions, but his weak, corrupted state left him struggling to answer.
  • Deathstroke ordered Cyborg to shine light on the Tree God while Orm and Su Ming gave him water and plant nutrient solution, restoring his strength.
  • The Tree God marked Mount Zola’s location on Deathstroke’s map and explained that balance was the fusion of light and darkness.
  • The Tree God said the Dark Giant was pure chaos and darkness, and that the other fiends called him “That Lord.”
  • Deathstroke’s group boarded Cyborg’s flying car, and Su Ming proposed using the Evil Thought Nobles as a distraction while Cyborg and She-Ra attacked their enemy from behind.
  • Luthor questioned the plan, and Su Ming told him to adapt to unexpected changes rather than rely on predictable habits.
