Meanwhile, the staff and security guards finally arrived.

A security guard with a conspicuous scar on his left arm picked up a sheet of paper from the lawn, then tore the last page out of his Employee Handbook.

He pressed the two sheets against either side of his face.

Then something bizarre happened.

The guard actually turned into an elephant-a normal elephant with fan-shaped ears.

After a brief moment of bewilderment, the elephant followed the Blue-Uniformed Staff and began circling the Elephant Enclosure.

Several Blue-Uniformed Staff were also shouting through megaphones.

"Everyone, snap out of it! Gather at the exit, quickly!"

With the staff's shouts and the lion roars that occasionally sounded from the megaphones, most people began to regain their senses.

Most people gradually came to their senses.

When they saw the real elephant before them, they felt as though they had awakened from a dream.

Then they followed the staff toward the exit.

The same happened to Su Chen.

The instant the elephant passed in front of him and completely blocked his view, his entire body shuddered.

A flash of lightning cut through the chaos in his mind.

The image of that real elephant was etched firmly into his mind, driving away all his confusion.

Immediately afterward, he discovered that he could control his body again.

He hurried toward the exit.

Since he had already been very close to it, he soon escaped the Elephant Enclosure.

The moment he escaped, he turned to look behind him again.

The powerful elephant was still circling the enclosure without pause.

Those bizarre white elephants were charging toward the outsider, their eyes red.

Then, pushed along by the crowd, he was carried farther away.

Su Chen left the Elephant Area entirely and could no longer see what happened next.

Soon, under the staff's direction, all the visitors were led out of the Elephant Enclosure.

Seeing this, several staff members hurriedly put up a cordon and sealed off the entire Elephant Enclosure.

By then, many visitors who had regained their senses wanted to flee this dangerous area as quickly as possible.

The bizarre events just now had terrified them.

But the staff stopped them all.

"Please wait a moment. Next, we'll accompany you to the final enclosure, where you can see the White Lions."

The staff spoke politely.

Many people refused to listen and insisted on leaving.

The staff soon subdued them by force.

With no other choice, everyone had to stay where they were and wait.

Fortunately, the wait was not long.

Soon, a child's piercing scream rang out from the Elephant Enclosure behind them.

At the sound of that scream, every staff member's expression darkened.

Many of their eyes grew slightly red.

But none of the staff said anything.

Instead, they forced friendly smiles onto their faces once more and led all the visitors present toward the Lion Enclosure.

Su Chen watched everything, deep in thought.

He had more or less figured out the rules, and with his save to keep him alive, he was not afraid of the Lion Enclosure.

What puzzled him was where that real elephant had come from.

And the way the staff were acting made it clear that they were hiding some secrets.

Su Chen committed all of this to memory, intending to investigate later.

Before long, everyone finally arrived at the Lion Enclosure.

Under the staff's direction, all the visitors hid behind an artificial rock formation.

Then one staff member stepped out from behind it and shouted something to the White Lions in the distance.

The White Lions rose with an almost human awareness, looked at the staff member, then turned to glance at the rock formation.

At that moment, Su Chen noticed something wrong.

As the four White Lions stood up, another lion was revealed among them.

According to the rules, there was a set number.

There should have been only four White Lions, yet now there were five.

That meant "it" had come to interfere again.

Su Chen frowned and was just about to avert his gaze as the rules instructed.

At that moment, the staff also noticed something wrong.

They hurriedly directed all the visitors to turn around and stop looking at the White Lions.

Meanwhile, the Blue-Uniformed Staff member who had stepped forward first took a bottle of Rabbit Blood from his pocket.

As soon as the Rabbit Blood appeared, the White Lion in the middle lunged at the staff member as though it had spotted prey.

The man calmly unscrewed the cap and decisively splashed the Rabbit Blood over the White Lion.

Drenched in blood, the White Lion froze in place. It did not continue attacking the staff member and instead adopted a docile posture.

Seeing this, the staff member turned and walked toward the rock formation, no longer looking at the lions behind him.

Meanwhile, the other four White Lions had already charged viciously at the lion drenched in Rabbit Blood.

Four gaping, bloody maws bit down at once.

But the expected bloody scene did not follow.

Instead, something bizarre happened.

Where the four lions bit down, the first lion's flesh eerily vanished.

It was like a jigsaw puzzle with several pieces missing.

But the four lions were not surprised and continued pouncing and biting ferociously.

Soon, like footage of a jigsaw puzzle being assembled played in reverse, the first White Lion vanished piece by piece into thin air.

Finally, it disappeared completely.

The four victorious White Lions raised their heads proudly and roared furiously at the sky in unison.

As those roars reached him, Su Chen felt his whole body grow lighter.

It was as though something filthy inside his body had been purified.
