Wang Xiaoliang fell silent for a while.
Wei Zijin had been observing him this way-he no longer felt the least bit uncomfortable about it.
"Did Zijin know this information came from Jiahui?"
Yang Qingyu looked over.
"Not at first."

"Later, I brought it up myself. I told her about my family, and she figured it out."
Wang Xiaoliang nodded.

Wang Xiaoliang said nothing. Only after a while did he ask, "What about Jiahui herself? How did she feel about Bisheng?"
"She liked him a little." Yang Qingyu thought for a moment. "That's what she said herself. She also said getting to know him didn't necessarily mean they had to date."
Wang Xiaoliang had also thought Luo Bisheng and Yi Jiahui were a good match back then. But however promising everyone else thought it was, if the people involved felt nothing, it was just misguided matchmaking.
The New Year festivities were over.
The wind in the streets had lost its bite, and spring had quietly arrived in Fucheng.
The sixteenth day of the first lunar month.
Liu Xinyu called a shareholders' meeting, with Wang Xiaoliang attending as a nonvoting participant.
Sima Hedong and Liu Chengyi were absent.
Before the meeting began,
