If Wang Jiang wasn't "Some Jiang," then who was?
Jiang Xin? Zheng Shunda? Liu Xidong?
What especially chilled Zhao Xuanwen the more he thought about it was that this "Some Jiang" seemed to know his every move. He had barely ordered Wang Jiang tortured for information and then silenced before the news was leaked to the police.
He even suspected that Some Jiang's earlier mention of "shooting the breeze" had been a deliberate clue planted for the police, so they could follow that lead straight to Xuanwen Company-and, by extension, him.
Fuck, which bastard was this Some Jiang?
Young Master Zhao now felt as though a pair of malicious eyes were watching his every move, every moment of the day!
Calm down. Stay calm!
The situation wasn't that serious yet.
He wasn't worried that Zhuzi, Dajun, and the other man would implicate him. First, they were loyal enough. Second, none of the three feared death, and he also held leverage over them.
Dajun, for instance, had a blind younger sister. Zhuzi was devoted to his parents. And Wei Dong had only recently married, with his wife already pregnant.
The phone he used to contact those three belonged to his female bodyguard, Kim Nam-joo. He had anonymous SIM cards by the basketful. Tracing anything back to him would be next to impossible!
And Wang Jiang's statement lacked evidence. The police couldn't convict him or take criminal action against him based solely on one man's word.
There were only two things he urgently needed to do now: find Some Jiang and silence him as soon as possible, and activate his protective network to ensure his own safety!
With that thought, he walked over to his desk, unlocked a drawer, took out a dedicated phone, and dialed a number.
