On the evening of March 15, Zhou Yi arrived as invited at Starshine Hall in the Jincheng International Hotel and met Chen Yurong, an attractive, mature, and dignified middle-aged woman.
Accompanying Chen Yurong was a young woman named Guo Jing, with shoulder-length hair and glasses. Despite her decidedly ordinary looks, she exuded a baffling air of confidence.
Although she did not introduce her background, anyone who could be friends with Chen Yurong surely had an identity worth mentioning.
Also present was Secretary Sima, whom he had not seen for a year and a half, her appearance unchanged and her manner as cool as ever.
Then there was Major Xiao Han, whom he had met in Capital City the previous year.
With Xiao Han making the introductions, Zhou Yi shook hands with Chen Yurong and Guo Jing in turn.

Zhou Yi turned to Sima Yanan, his former superior whom he had not seen in so long, and asked quietly, "So you won the rock-paper-scissors match against Wen Xu this time?"
Sima Yanan smiled and shook her head. "Once was enough for something that childish. Xiao Han and I came to Jincheng specifically to visit an elder, and to see you while we were here."
Xiao Han leaned over from the other side and joked, "Not me. I came specifically to see you, and to visit that elder while I was here. How's that for being a good friend?"
Zhou Yi could not help laughing. Whatever anyone else believed, he certainly did not buy it!
Chen Yurong and Guo Jing discreetly observed Zhou Yi and the others. The way the three leaned in to speak privately made it clear that Zhou Yi's relationships with Xiao Han and Sima Yanan were anything but
