Some of the forces from other regions sighed inwardly, feeling even more stifled.
Others cheered. Across the Imperial Capital, people joined in the shouting.
Clearly, some things could only be done in the shadows. Once brought out into the open, they became an entirely different matter.
Those great sects from beyond the region wanted to install puppets and secretly control the Desolate Region's native powers. Quite a few of the Stone Emperor's children, for instance, had already been won over.
