It was not that they were too weak, but that Moonlight was too strong!
A pirate of that caliber was already beyond their ability to handle.
"With the few ships and men we have, we are clearly still far from being able to deal with this man. But I will not give up. Next time, I will bring more people and become stronger to arrest you!"
Smoker said with a resolute gaze.
Then they turned their eyes toward Mr. 2 Bon Clay.
They truly had no way to deal with Moonlight, but this man was different.
Feeling their gazes, Bon Clay could not help but shudder all over.
He had forgotten one thing: he should have asked Moonlight to take him along too!
Now, facing the enraged pair and the Marines eyeing him covetously from all around, he was like a trembling little lamb that had carelessly fallen into a pack of wolves!
"Moonlight!"
On the Going Merry, Luffy and the others gave a thumbs-up as they watched Moonlight leap up from the sea.
"Let's go. Things here have come to an end. It's time to begin our next adventure."
Moonlight said with a soft smile.
Everyone nodded. Then the Going Merry set sail once more, heading toward the next stop.
"This really wasn't easy. I never thought we would actually defeat such a powerful enemy as Crocodile. He was one of the Shichibukai!"
After the Going Merry departed again and the Marines did not pursue them, Nami finally let out a long breath and sighed.
"That's right. The Shichibukai really are formidable, but under the leadership of Captain Usopp, we still defeated him in the end!"
Usopp nodded heavily, picking up the thread with a smug boast.
