Hody's expression immediately darkened. Though he had overdosed on Energy Steroids and lost his mind, attacking anyone in his way regardless of friend or foe, he still retained a sliver of instinct. He knew someone like Moonlight was not to be provoked!
Even if he took a hundred times his current dose, he would never be a match for the man before him!
"I haven't lost yet! I will not lose!"
Moonlight stood before him, while Luffy and the others blocked his rear. The New Fish-Man Pirates were finished, but Hody refused to accept his fate. Gritting his teeth, he locked his gaze on Shirahoshi and rushed toward her.
Not only that, Vander Decken IX struggled back to his feet. Hody had torn off one of his arms, and the agonizing pain had restored his senses. At the sight of Shirahoshi, he refused to give up. He picked up an axe and threw it again.
"Shirahoshi, you're mine! Die with me!"

His obsession with Shirahoshi had turned into hatred!

The two attacked swiftly and viciously, immediately targeting the key person. They knew that as long as they captured Shirahoshi, the Mermaid Princess, there was still a chance to turn things around.
