Moonlight fought Magellan in Blazing Hell, defeated him with a powerful Sword Aura attack, and collapsed the floors into Freezing Hell. Meanwhile, Luffy and his allies escaped from the sixth level and learned that Moonlight had defeated Magellan as they headed toward the exit.

  • Moonlight entered Blazing Hell, knocked out the guards with Conqueror's Haki, and confronted Chief Warden Magellan.

Ch. 219Shiryu of the Rain

Luffy and his allies climbed through Impel Down while Shiryu of the Rain escaped and joined Blackbeard's group. When Luffy confronted Blackbeard, Moonlight arrived and defeated the group with his Extreme Ghost Sword Style: Storm Style.

  • Luffy and his allies continued upward through Impel Down after learning that Moonlight had arrived, while Magellan remained out of their way.
  • Shiryu of the Rain escaped from his cell, killed the guards, and headed for the upper levels.

Ch. 220Don't Think You're Leaving That Easily

Moonlight and the prisoners escaped Impel Down after overcoming Magellan’s closing gates, but they reached the sea without a ship. Meanwhile, Marine Headquarters prepared for Whitebeard’s arrival, and Ace’s execution was moved up to two hours away.

  • Magellan tried to trap Moonlight, Luffy, and their allies inside Impel Down, so Inazuma cut a path through the gates and Moonlight knocked out the beasts on Beast Hell with Conqueror’s Haki.
  • Mr. 3 used wax to delay a reinforced Seastone gate, and Moonlight jammed it open with the Kusanagi Sword so the prisoners could escape.
